Bear Grylls Live Stage Show
Visual Design
We provided the video content design for this ambitous stage show for Bear Grylls. We worked closely with Bear and the Stu Fish team to create and produce all the video projection mapped content which was a combination of action footage and bespoke 3d animations.
We also provided media server programming and live show video director for the full UK Arena show tour.

CHALLENGE
The projection mapping surface was a bespoke climbing wall which meant we had an unusual canvas to work with, coupled with the large amount of wire automation for moving Bear around the wall and stage meant that we needed a full time-coded pre-visualisation.
SOLUTION
We used VYV's Photon media server which allowed us to pre-vis and design the show right from the start of pre-production. We also used the auto calibration feature heavily whilst out on tour to map the 12 projectors in under 30 mins.
